IT Systemadministrator (m/f/d)

Working place: Berlin

Your tasks:

  • Administration of the company’s LAN/WAN environment, which includes a Windows infrastructure based on VMware, different business applications as well as e-mail and storage systems
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving on daily bases
  • Application of system patches and software upgrades
  • Support of the 2nd level support regarding case escalations and problem resolutions while using our internal ticketing system
  • Participation as an integral part in further IT projects and coordinate and share tasks cross-departmentally

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with respective experience in the field or technical certification with established work track
  • Practical experience with the administration of Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 7/10, Exchange 2013, Office 365, MSSQL and Active Directory
  • General networking knowledge and experience with LAN, VLANs, WLANs, WANs and Firewalls
  • Experience with VMware vSphere 6.5 or newer versions
  • Practical experience with backup software solutions like e.g. Veeam, Symantec Backup Exec/Veritas
  • Experience with storage technologies, e.g. RAID, CIFS/SMB, NFS, NAS, SAN
  • Ability to work as a team player and also self-reliant
  • Very good written and spoken English and German skills
