SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d)
Location: Berlin
Your Tasks:
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality ABAP programs on the S4/HANA platform, optimizing existing code for performance and efficiency, and conducting unit testing
- Develop and maintain O-data services for seamless integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, and design and implement API integrations to enhance system interoperability and data exchange
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to O-data services and API integrations
- Utilize SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) tools and services to extend and integrate SAP applications, and develop custom applications and enhancements using SAP BTP
- Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP advancements and incorporate relevant features into projects
- Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions, providing technical support and guidance to junior developers
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Identify areas for improvement within existing systems and processes, propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience, and stay up-to-date with emerging SAP technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development on S4/HANA
- Proven experience in developing O-data services and API integrations
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a significant plus
- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP
- In-depth knowledge of S4/HANA architecture and development
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; SAP certifications in relevant areas are a plus
