(Senior) Network Engineer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Configure routing protocols and network devices (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and access controls
- Monitor network performance using tools like DataDog, SolarWinds, and others
- Implement efficient routing and switching protocols
- Design and secure WLAN environments
- Manage virtual networks in VMware, Azure (required), and AWS (advantageous)
- Configure networking on Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS
- Diagnose and resolve network issues with tools like WireShark, TCPdump, and Nmap
- Tune network performance and remove bottlenecks
- Design topologies and implement VLANs and DMZs
- Deploy layered security architectures
- Ensure alignment with GDPR, ISO 27001, and related standards
- Maintain network diagrams and configuration records
- Validate configurations through testing and simulation
Your profile
- CCNP/JCNP Certified or equivalent
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a production environment with more than 100 servers and 500 users
- Experience with enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, and security tools
- Working knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with network architecture and documentation
- Familiarity with compliance standards and industry framework
- Excellent problem-solving skills, structured thinking, and a high level of independence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Driving license
